WSB: Bayliss does the double at Misano
The Australian secured race one in the latter stages, overtaking Yamaha's Noriyuki Haga with a handful of laps to go. Haga was then taken out on the next lap by Max Biaggi in a hopeless overtaking manoeuvre, which put both riders out of the race altogether. The crash happened at one of the fastest parts of the course. Both riders escaped unhurt. 1st Troy Bayliss (Xerox Ducati) 2nd Troy Corser(Yamaha Motor Italia) 3rd Yukio Kagayama (Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra) Championship leader, Britain's James Toseland, finished fourth. .
